Centro Ceremonial Otomí
El Parque Centro Ceremonial Otomí está localizado a 34 km dal noreste de Toluca por la carreteral estatal rumbo a Temoaya. El Centro Ceremonial Otomí es una construcción del pueblo otomí ubicada en Temoaya usado para ceremonias ancestrales y sagradas de esta cultural. Aquí verás unas curiosas pirámides y una explanada con un pieza de arte que sólo podrá ser admirada desde las alturas, ya que se encuentra en el suelo. Cabe señalar que este lugar fue usado en el videoclip de “Limbo” de Dady Yankee, por lo que seguramente ya lo has visto antes.
Volcán Holotepec
Es muy probable que nunca hayas escuchado de éste antes, ya que no es tan conocido como el Nevado de Toluca. El Volcán Holotepec se encuentra en el Parque Recreativo Tecula en Texcalyacac, aquí además de ver al volcán podrás visitar las minas de piedra volcánica, el Centro Ceremonial Matlazinca, practicar senderismo, jugar básquetbol o fútbol en familia y disfrutar de una estancia en este recinto natural.
Ciénegas de Lerma
Las Ciénegas de Lerma son un conjunto de humedales de agua dulce ubicados al oriente del Valle de Toluca. Estos humedales están divididos entre tres lagunas y dan origen al Río Lerma. Las Ciénegas de Lerma cuentan con una designación internacional como sitio de importancia internacional para la conservación de las aves migratorias y está considera como Área de Importancia para la Conservación de las Aves en México, por lo que a tu visita verás una fauna impresionante y disfrutarás de vistas alucinantes.
