Los Pueblos Mágicos son una iniciativa de la Secretaria de Turismo puesta en marcha hace más de una década para llevar turismo a las zonas regionales de varios de los estados de la República.
Este tipo de lugares son espacios turísticos de gran valor histórico y cultural para el país, además de conservar sitios de enorme belleza natural, los municipios o poblados que cumplan con estas características son los que pueden ser seleccionados como Pueblos Mágicos.
¿Hay Pueblos Mágicos dentro de la ciudad de México?
Ahora bien, no todos los espacios pueden cumplir con los criterios de esta selección, los lugares que sean capitales no podrán ser Pueblos Mágicos, esta es una de las especificaciones que la Sectur aclara al momento de elegir un lugar en esta categoría.
De esta forma, es importante considerar que la ciudad de México no tiene ningún Pueblo Mágico dentro de sus 16 alcaldias puesto que es la capital federal del país y no cumplen con los requerimentos de la Secretaría de Turismo como pueblo mágico.
El objetivo elemental de los Pueblos Mágicos es dar espacio a zonas dentro de México que no cuenten con gran reconocimiento nacional en lo que respecta al turismo pero que tienen atractivos de gran valor e interés para viajeros regionales, nacionales e internacionales.
Considerando lo anterior, podrás percatarte que las capitales de los estados en el país no pueden tener la categoría de Pueblo Mágico pero sus municipios o poblaciones aledañas sí. Así, aunque en la capital del país no hay pueblos Mágicos, altededor de esta hay gran cantidad de dichos espacios que conocer, sobre todo en los alrededores del Estado de Puebla, Estado de México y Morelos.
