Se trata de la reserva tropical más grande que tenemos en nuestro país, y en su territorio podrás encontrar varias zonas arqueológicas, pero también una importante variedad de flora y fauna. En la franja costera se localiza esta reserva, la cual es la más grande de manglares en la zona del Golfo de México. Tiene amplias regiones de humedales que se encuentran bien conservados y se reconoce por ser también uno de los pocos sitios donde habita de manera natural el flamenco rosa y la tortuga carey. Además, otro de sus aspectos sobresalientes es que cuenta con un Bosque Petrificado, donde hay árboles secos que provocan la apariencia de un lugar encantado.
Cenote Miguel Colorado
Muy cerca de la capital del estado, se encuentra el Cenote Miguel Colorado, que en realidad es casi aceptado como un conjunto de varios cenotes porque hay otros cercanos a él.
